This year’s in-season edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” will follow the four teams from the AFC North instead of its traditional format which follows a single team.
“Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North,” begins airing Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and will stream on Max. Series episodes will feature the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, airing every Tuesday through the end of the NFLregular season and into the playoffs.
The AFC North edition aims to chronicle “the battle for the AFC North crown during the final six weeks of the NFL season, as well as a playoff run for the division-winner and any AFC North Wild Card teams,” according to a news release.
“Last season the AFC North became the first division ever to have all four teams finish with a winning record, making it the perfect place to launch this new approach to ‘Hard Knocks,’” Keith Cossrow, NFL Films vice president and head of content said in a news release. “We thank the Bengals, Browns, Ravens and Steelers for the opportunity to showcase some of the greatest rivalries in football and present the intensity of a playoff chase from all four corners of this incredibly competitive division.”
