The Farmer’s Market has around 60 vendors. It is a better location across from the YMCA. Plenty of parking and newly paved. The old BHS location.
Superintendent Ramnytz will be retired at the end of July but will help out in the transition in August . Jason Ondrus is them new Superintendent. A BHS graduate.
The Foundation has a new development director,GIl Gonzales from Southern California and Arizona. He moved to be closer to his son. The mother is the new track coach at Akron U.
The Foundation is trying to develop the old Rockwell property on Newell and Norton Ave. Across from the stadium. Mr. Gonzales will be busy!!
A big music and vendor celebration will occur on SaturdayJune 8 from noon to 8pm. Many bands and vendors. A new event sponsored by the downtown merchants and Main Street Barberton.
