The Barberton Area News website was developed to continue keeping our community informed of news, sports, obituaries and history in our tight knit community.
The site is the result of a social media company banning our group, for reasons they will not disclose. With this site, we will no longer be held accountable to anyone but ourselves. Posts are encouraged. We will moderate them for appropriateness.
Your patience while the site is refined and polished is much appreciated. Our hit-list of items we want to implement include:
- A mailing list for updates and items of particular news or importance. Either click the “Newsletter” link at the top of the page or click here.
- The team is also working on an intro page on Facebook. Once that is complete the FB icon on the top right of our header will be active.
